Jada and David:
Jada + David Parrish are mixed media artists whose work explores the connection between painting, sculpture, motion, and photography. Together, Jada + David construct photography sets primarily using recycled plywood and paint, heavily playing on forced perspective and optical illusions. Their photographs depict situations that blur the line between reality and dream worlds, highlighting a deep sense of uncertainty and poignant elements of the human condition.
In 2021, Jada + David completed their 100 Installation Project, successfully building and photographing 100 installations out of repurposed materials in one year. Their work has been recognized by the International Photography Awards, The Chromatic Awards, and The Aesthetica Art Prize.
